By purchasing a property within the Greenridge Estates Homeowners' Association, homeowners are legally bound to abide by the Association's Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R). These documents define your rights and responsibilties as a GEHOA homeowner. The governing documents are available on the homeowner portal.
The Governing Documents must be provided to home buyers at settlement and are part of the seller's Resale Package. GEHOA homeowners selling their properties still must apply to the Association for a resale package. If you are planning to sell your home, please visit the Resale Package Info page.
The Commission on Common Ownership Communities (CCOC) was established to increase property values and improve the quality of life in common ownership communities (COCs) in Montgomery County. These include:
Advising the County Executive and the County Council on issues affecting COCs and suggesting legislative solutions,
Promoting public awareness of the legal rights and obligations of residents in a COC,
Providing educational programs and technical assistance to owners and board members
Resolving disputes between residents and their associations
For information about the CCOC, visit the MoCo Department of Housing and Community Affairs website.
